Adoption holds are adopters guarantee that a dog will be held for a family for up to 3 days. Holds are non-refundable, but go towards the total adoption fee. If a dog becomes ill or cannot be adopted out for any reason, your donation will be returned in full within 14 days. If you decide for any reason that you do not wish to go through with adoption, there will be no refund, the pet will be offered to other applicants, and will be marked as "sponsored" so he or she can be offered with a discounted adoption fee.
