Not sure if you have been approved? Then you haven't been!
We are super clear when you have been approved, and are invited to make an appointment. If you applied and it has been more than 24 hours, check your junk mail folder for an approval or denial letter.
If you make an appointment and do not have an approved application, your booking will not show up in our system and no one will know to meet you.
Duplicate emails, or rude, impatient emails will be ignored and sender will be blocked. OUR #1 REASON TO EXIST IS TO CARE FOR OUR ANIMALS, everything else, including finding them homes, comes after making sure they are loved and cared for while they are here.
Since the beginning of COVID, and continuing until all mask mandates have been lifted in the state of CA, we have started ONLY offering PRIVATE ADOPTION MEETINGS. That means we are not having adoption "events" at Petsmart, Tractor Supply or Petco.
It is very important to us to make sure we keep our adoptive families safe and healthy.

Understand we are humans too, be kind... the person you are meeting has probably been pooped on within an hour of meeting you and they are giving it 110%
Be prompt, and prepared to fall in love, and take your baby home.
Adoption Coordinators who fill out paperwork and transfer the dog to you are NOT always able to adjust fees, arrange boarding or take a deposit/hold for any animal. Any arrangements of these types must be made with office staff PRIOR to meeting.
Staff that meets to complete adoption paperwork are the foster parent for the pups... well, most of the time. Go ahead and ask your questions about how the dog acts, what the routine is, or any other questions about the dog.
